In Italy, it’s not Christmas without the notes of “Tu scendi dalle stelle”. For my Puglia Fuorirotta Christmas Edition I went in search of the origins of this song. Aboard my faithful van I crossed Puglia to discover that “Tu scendi dalle stelle” ( You come down from the stars) was born right here, between the woods and the tableland, between the mountains and the sky of Deliceto, following in the footsteps of the shepherds and the simplicity of their gestures.
