Meeting with a special woman: Mariantonietta, shepherdess of the Murgia. From the PugliaFuoriRotta trip

Mariantonietta is 32 years old and is a shepherd. When we think of the work of a shepherd, we often think of an exclusively male job, yet there are many women who have decided to do this job. Precisely for this reason I went to visit the young shepherdess from Puglia, to listen to her story, dreams, passions. I met Mariantonietta in Casal Sabini, near Altamura, where she lives, works in the family business and welcomes walkers who walk along the Via Peuceta of the Cammino Materano. This video is part of Puglia Fuorirotta, my journey in search of stories of special people and places created in 2020 in collaboration with WeAreinPuglia.
